Islamabad, Pakistan – 60 Second Intl. Film Festival (60SIFF) and PTV Films have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on future projects, promote the growth of the film industry and create new opportunities for aspiring filmmakers in Pakistan.
The MOU was signed on February 16th, 2023 at the PTV Centre Islamabad by CEO of 60SIFF, Ms. Sabeen Farooq, and the Managing Director of PTV Films, Ms. Narita Farhan.




60SIFF is an annual film festival that provides a platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent and connect with the film industry. Since its inception in 2012, the festival has screened over 600 short films from more than 70 countries.
PTV Films is the film production arm of Pakistan Television Corporation, the state-run television network in Pakistan. The company has produced many award-winning films, dramas, and documentaries over the years and continues to be a leading force in the Pakistani film industry.
Under the MOU, 60SIFF and PTV Films will work together on various initiatives, including film screenings, workshops, and training programs for emerging filmmakers. The two organizations will also collaborate on the production of short films, documentaries, and other projects to promote the growth of the film industry in Pakistan.
Speaking at the MOU signing ceremony, Narita Farhan, Managing Director of PTV Films, said, “We are excited to be working with 60SIFF to support emerging filmmakers and promote the growth of the film industry in Pakistan.
